I've been telling stories on behalf of causes I believe in for more than a dozen years.
I believe that in order for words to "work," a good communicator needs to understand her audience: their values, their trusted sources of information, and their own sources of cognitive dissonance and selective information bias. I also believe that the best communication is strategic, draws on social values and norms, and achieves measurable results. I've worked to implement this philosophy in each position I've held. |
